RxMap ("Service") is a data normalization tool operated by Medication Data Science Inc that converts National Drug Codes (NDC) to RxNorm Concept Unique Identifiers (RxCUI) and related drug terminology using the publicly available NLM RxNorm API. RxMap is not a clinical decision support tool and does not provide medical advice.
RxMap is designed so that your original file never leaves your browser. Only NDC codes are sent to the server for enrichment — all other columns remain local to your device. Do not upload files containing identifiable patient data or sensitive personal information.
RxMap is not a HIPAA Business Associate and does not execute Business Associate Agreements.
The Service charges $0.01 USD per NDC code processed, with a minimum charge of $5.00 USD per transaction. Payments are processed securely. All charges are final and non-refundable unless the processing fails due to a Service error. If processing fails, you will be issued a credit for a future conversion.
Uploaded files and processed results are stored temporarily for up to 24 hours from the time of upload, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted. We do not sell, share, or disclose your uploaded data to any third party, except as required by law. RxMap does not require account creation; sessions are identified by a secure random token.
RxMap retrieves data from the National Library of Medicine's RxNorm API. Not all NDC codes have corresponding RxCUI entries in RxNorm — some codes may return empty results. RxMap makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose of the returned data. Results are provided on an "as-is" basis.
You may use RxMap for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Service to process data in violation of any applicable law or regulation, circumvent any security measures, or engage in any activity that could harm the Service or other users.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medication Data Science Inc and its officers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
For questions about these Terms or to report a violation, please contact us through the Service.
